Description

Here it is: My Top 29 Favorite Cartoons. For the shows with episode names I remember, I'll list my favorite episode for it.

29. Danny Phantom (Nickelodeon)

When this show was still airing new episodes, I barely paid any attention to it. One night it was on Nicktoons, and I decided to check it out. And, OH MAH GAWD it's great! The animation is awesome (Butch Hartman's other masterpieces are on here too), the voice acting is great, the characters are likable, it's just a great show.

28. South Park (Comedy Central)

The only reason this show is so low on my list is because I never got into it until now. With Danny Phantom, it was more of a lack of interest, with South Park, it was more of a lack of oppritunity. Nonetheless this show is fantastic. The jokes are great, the characters are hilarious (Cartman's my favorite), the animation is very hilarious since it's trying to intentionally look bad and parody crappily animated cartoons. Overall, a great show.

27. Pucca (Jetix)

Back when Toon Disney was a thing, I watched this show a lot. Unfortunately, Disney doesn't seem to care about it anymore and just shoved it to the side. The japanese-like style of the show is really cool, and the animation is fast-paced and funny.

26. Robot and Monster (Nickelodeon)

I know that this show is given a lot of hate, and I can see why, but this is probably one of the best Nicktoons of the modern age. The characters (for the most part) are very likable, the voice acting is enjoyable, the animation is good. The only problem is all the torment given to Robot. Robot is sort of like the Squidward of the show, just one of the main stars. Robot's relationship the townspeople and his own FAMILY is just infuriating to watch at times. Especially Gart, who is basically Mr. Krabs, just a little more cruel and a little more charming. But even with it's problems, I consider it a great show.

25. The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius (Nickelodeon)
Favorite Episode: When Pants Attack

I have the feeling I'm going to get crap for putting Jimmy Neutron low on the list, especially after the Nicktoons coming up, but don't get me wrong. I adore this show! The characters are memorable, the plots for the episodes are great, and it's just a great show.

24. Doug (Nickelodeon)
Favorite Episode: Doug Just Can't Dig It

Why does every episode start with the word Doug's name for some reason? Anyway, Doug is a very love-or-hate show. Some people love it, and some people hate it with a burning passion (you know who I'm talking about ;) (Wink) ). I love this show. The characters are likable, the animation's decent, the music is very unique, I just really like it.

23. Adventure Time (Cartoon Network)
Favorite Episode: All The Little People

Oh boy, here comes the hate. Before you go nuts, I love Adventure Time. Finn and Jake are very memorable characters, the settings are great, how can you not love this show?

22. Rugrats (Nickelodeon)

As you can see I seem to have a love for Nicktoons. Well most of them. But Rugrats is a great show. Everything about the show is good. The characters, the setting, the concept, the voice acting, the animation, the writing, fantastic! It's probably Nickelodeon's most-popular and longest-running Nicktoon next to Spongebob in both categories (I'll be getting to SBSP soon) and has definitely deserved it.

21. Dexter's Laboratory (Cartoon Network)
Favorite Episode: Gooey Aliens That Control Your Mind

One word: Brilliant.

20. El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera (Nickelodeon)
Favorite Episode: La Tigresa

I honestly don't understand why this show gets so much crap. It's a very interesting show. The concept is very interesting, a son with a belt that gives him superpowers, but has to deal with his superhero dad and supervillian grandfather (who is my favorite character by the way) and whether not to be good or bad while also keeping a (kinda) normal life.

19. Regular Show (Cartoon Network)
Favorite Episode: Jinx

Do I even need to explain this one? What I first saw from the commercials as a boring, mundane show actually turned into an amazing, over-the-top, epic cartoon! If you haven't seen this yet, you are really missing out!

18. Spongebob Squarepants (Nickelodeon)
Favorite Episode: Chocolate With Nuts

Why is Spongebob so low on the list? Isn't it obvious? It's become crap in the modern age. But aside from that, Seasons 1-4 were pretty good. It wasn't until Season 5 they started ruining the show. My favorite season is Season 3. It gave us Krusty Krab Training Video, Pranks A Lot, Rock-A-Bye Bivalve, Krab Borg, and my favorite episode of Spongebob, Chocolate With Nuts. If you for some reason have not seen Spongebob, only watch Seasons 1-4. There's a reason why I used the 2002-2007 logo instead of the 2008-onwards logo.

17. The Powerpuff Girls (Cartoon Network)
Favorite Episode: The Rowdyruff Boys

Thought this show is girly? Think again.

16. The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy (Cartoon Network)

Hands-down my favorite Cartoon Cartoon. I don't usually like dark humor, but Billy & Mandy handles it well. Sure there are a bunch of fart and butt jokes, but they are quick and don't really ruin the show, unlike a certain OTHER SHOW I know...

15. Rocket Power (Nickelodeon)

I can't really explain why I adore this show. I was never into extreme sports, but Rocket Power showed me how cool it is. I think most of my love for the show comes from Rocket Power: Beach Bandits on the PS2, a game I still love to this day.

14. Pokemon (TV TOKYO)
Favorite Episode: Pikachu Re-Volts

I'm (by "I'm" I mean my OC) a Pokemon! Figure it out yourself!

13. The Fairly OddParents (Nickelodeon)
Favorite Episode: Channel Chasers

Hands down my favorite Nicktoon currently running on Nickelodeon, or at least I suppose it's still running. Seriously, why does Nickelodeon put Fairly OddParents into hiatus after hiatus? I'm really impressed that they were able to keep the show great after over 10 years, while Spongebob has hit Rock Bottom about 50 times all these years! Yes, Fairly Oddparents is 13 years old. Feel old yet?

12. The Amazing World of Gumball (Cartoon Network)

Amazing. That's all I need to say.

11. T. U. F. F. Puppy (Nickelodeon)

NICKELODEON, WHY THE HELL DO YOU KEEP KILLING OFF YOUR GOOD SHOWS?! HACK! Sorry for that outburst. T. U. F. F. Puppy is my favorite modern Nicktoon. Come on, Butch Hartman has created 2 other masterpieces before this. He wouldn't go Aaron Springer on us.

10. Gravity Falls (Disney Channel)

The first of 2 Disney Channel shows and sweet mother of god is this show amazing! This show feels like a show you would not expect from modern Disney. Classic Disney, of coarse! Too bad Disney's killing this off and putting it on Disney XD and making me less willing to watch Disney Channel. Don't you guys want viewers?!

9. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (Cartoon Network)
Favorite Episode: Cookie Dough

The last CN show on my list, and boy-o-boy do we have a doosy! Foster's is a flat-out MASTERPIECE!

8. Rocko's Modern Life (Nickelodeon)

Before Aqua Teen Hunger Force took over my life, I watched Rocko non-stop. Ren & Stimpy was never really my thing, and I wasn't allowed to watch it when I was little. Rocko is just my type of show.

7. Kid vs. Kat (Teletoon)

The only Canadian show on my list (correct me if I'm wrong), and I ADORE this show! The characters are likable for the most part (Coop's sister isn't necessarily the best character), and Coop and Kat are very likable. Besides, seeing Kat's face when he's about to attack always cracks me up.

6. Yin Yang Yo! (Jetix)

Go on YouTube and LOOK THIS SHOW UP! Trust me. This show is fantastic! The characters are amazingly likable, the animation is great (Hell, it was made by the studio that animated Wow! Wow! Wubbzy, which is pretty decent), and the whole show is great!

5. ChalkZone (Nickelodeon)

Oh boy, I love this show! I know a lot of people dislike ChalkZone, but I love it. The characters are very memorable (especially Snap), the art style is unique, it's just really good!

4. CatDog (Nickelodeon)

Yep, CatDog is my favorite Nicktoon. I've always loved this show. I really don't need to explain, just watch the show.

3. Aqua Teen Hunger Force (Adult Swim)

Now we have the big ones. ATHF is one of the best adult shows I have ever seen. The characters are likable, the animation is decent (even though it's animated in Flash), and it's just a great show!

2. Lilo & Stitch: The Series (Disney Channel)
Favorite Episode: Snafu

My life in the middle 2000s!! I was obsessed with this show, and I will love it for years.

1. Futurama (Fox/Comedy Central)
Favorite Episode: Benderama

Here it is, the big, BIG one! Futurama is a masterpiece of MASTERPIECES! Everything about this show is fantastic! The characters, the setting, the concept, the animation, the art style, the voice acting, the humor, the EVERYTHING!!

Honorable Mentions:

Chowder (Cartoon Network): Completely forgot until after this was finished.
Wander Over Yonder (Disney Channel): Same as Chowder.
The Looney Tunes Show (Cartoon Network)
Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures (Disney XD)
A Pup Named Scooby-Doo (????)
The Simpsons (Fox)
